Fiddle Leaf Fig CARE pt 1

we’ve all heard it before…fiddle leaf figs are FINICKY, they hate change, they don’t like being repotted, and FOR THE LOVE, don’t move them unless you have to. ;)

BUT, you can have success with fiddles too!!! Here are some of our go-to tips…

  1. consistency…it really is key! check your fiddle every 7 days, if it’s dry 2 inches (for an 8” pot or wider) it’s time to water! ideally you can get on a 7 day watering cycle.

  2. use a plant nutrient, our favorite is linked here. use it every time you water!

  3. only repot when actually needed, AKA roots coming out the drainage hole, or on the top of the soil.

  4. DUST your fiddle leaves with neem oil, at least once a month. front and back of the leaves, using a microfiber towel.

  5. hire The Plant Doctors to come check out your fiddle! 😉

  6. Stay tuned for more tips.
